Our prompt for this project was to make a design system. I came up with a very personal project. I took sandwich bag quotes my dad used to make for me before he sadly passed away in 2022. He was an amazing dad and I am glad that I am able to continue spreading positive messages and puns on his behalf.
I was able to learn how to make multi-colored screen prints for this project. I learned how to properly register my multi-screen prints. I choose to purposely make the colors bleed a bit outside of the black outlines. I wanted to give the project a “fun” and“playful” look. I also made hem tags for the brand to give it a more handmade feel and to add a personal touch.
